Ummm. Yes, you can. You can also try shooting yourself in the foot.

Like everything there are two sides to the coin. Some CC companies have cash back points programs that are very aggressive, while still allowing 30 days to pay in full from the purchase date. What does this mean???? If you have $0 balance, and you pay your payment via credit card, all you have to do is pay off the card every month before the 30 day interest free grace period ends (30 days from your payment date.) In the end, 35,000 points or so would yield you a check (yes cash) of between $350 - 1,000 dollars depending on what card you use. It's a pretty simple way to put more money back in your pocket - and I already do this with most of my bills... never thought of doing it with the car payment though. GREAT IDEA!

Haha. I know man... I gathered that was probably the case. I just thought I'd be a smartass and lolz a little.

Hey Travis,

I am going to be purchasing an Evo in the next few weeks. I'm looking for a WW with SSS. If I can't locate that combo in the state of FL, how difficult is the process of ordering it through you? My local dealer does not have much inventory of anything (looks like a ghost town).

Exactly! Discover just sent me a promotion for $250 cashback if I spend $1500/month from Feb to June. I can't spend that much money a month unless I am using it to make my car payments. Since I haven't bought my Evo yet, I thought I'd ask those of you currently financed through Mitsubishi to see whether they allow credit card payments.

So I guess the answer is yes Mitsubishi allows borrowers to pay with credit cards (without additional processing fees)?

I've never tried it... I just called MMCA credit to check. They'll take a DEBIT payment, but there's a 9.95 surcharge for this. Guess it won't work for a car payment. I guess you'll have to pay other bills using this idea.

That's too bad...I knew they wouldn't be that generous.

Anyway, going in this weekend to get a 2011 MR (base), what would be a great price?

Any advice on pricing on a 2011 MR base this time of the year/month? I am about to go in this weekend and want to be armed with a reasonable bottom-line price. Any help is appreciated!

Every model I've looked at has been priced through the roof. I'm also curious as to what I should reasonable expect to pay these days for one.

I'm in the same boat and have asked the same question in two different threads. No luck getting an answer.

what sucks even more is that TrueCar.com doesn't have any of the actual car sales data anymore. Last time I checked, lowest transaction price on a base MR was in the low $33k's.

There is still no rebates on the 2011's so the price diffenece between and 11 and a 12 is going to be $600

Watch truecar , you have to add the destination in there, cant look at the big number must read the fine print... Happy hunting

Also most dealers are not honoring the truecar price, as a dealer you have to pay them for your business and in some states that is illegal. Also ask for what the dealer fee's are.

There are only 38 BASE 2011 MR's in the country. that is a fog of A08 , (fog) is mitsu's individual model codes,
The cheapest ones in the country invoice at $36517 including the destination.
A good sale price would be $35617 including destination+ tax,tag,and dealer fee's
Good luck guys
Travis
