I had just come from testing a BMW M3 and all that dealer required was a copy of my license. I was also put off by the salesperson who was unfriendly and seemed bothered- as if he was doing ME a freaking favor! I would not do business with those people if they offered me a car for 10K under MSRP!!!

On the other hand, the folks at Kendall Mitsu were extremely courteous and accomodating and offered me a test drive in the GSR; all I needed was to provide my license, which is standard for most dealers.

Good to know about the Costco discount though :-)
I didn't like Coconut Creek either. They seemed a little annoyed when I came in and talked to them too. I made an appointment to talk to one guy, and when I came in, he already left for the day. Then I was looking at the MR on the floor and it had some 4k mark up on the sticker and I asked what it was (I forgot what it was listed as), but no one there could tell me what it was for. The same guy I had an appointment with called me multiple times and about 10 seconds after I picked up the phone, he said he had to go. Another time he said he had another Evo coming in and would call me when it came in, that was the last time I heard from them.

The people who work at Miami Lakes is pretty nice, but one of their white GSRs looked like they backed into something gently on the bumper and the wing was missing too. When I asked about it they said the wing came broken from the factory and had to order another. I still think they just hit something though.

If you're willing to drive up, check out RC Hill in Deland. That's where I'm picking my car up in about 12 hours and I saw a few MRs and prices are pretty good compared to the West Palm area.

I am very familiar with RC Hill and it's great prices. In fact, RC Hill has a fully loaded MR for around $40K in WW. Got to say after my experience with Coco**** Creek Mitsu, I may take a trip to Deland! Can I ask what car you bought and what you paid? Did you get the internet price or below it?

Thanks for your feedback.

I considered the one in Coconut Creek but it really bothered me that they marked up the car $4000. They have it listed for less on the internet. They also calede me 10 times a day and I felt pressured.

Go to RC Hill, its worth it. My salesman even offered to drop the car off in Miami for me.

Yea, I'll PM you tonight or tomorrow with the details. Going to pick up the car now, can't wait! Maybe I'll take a peek at the white one you're looking at if I get a chance .

You lucky guy! Have a safe trip and enjoy the ride back in your new Evo X. Man I can't wait to get my MR, so I look forward to hearing all about your buying experience, price, car specs, etc.

I also bought my 2012 WW GSR from Deland. I hated the experience there with every person except one, Seleana Wunder. Talk to her and if you want, PM me for my name, she will know me.

I ended up paying 37K OTD for a brand new GSR with SS and interior sport packages.

Yes. I am getting a fully loaded MR with aero kit. Giving 20-25K down and financing the rest. Not feeling that new Cosmic Blue color replacing Octane Blue for 2013; saw it on the Outlander Sport and it's way too dark for my taste.

Rchill in deland is the way to go. I bought my first x there and are in the final stages of closing my second one. They have the biggest Evo inventory of any place I have ever seen. Prices are great as are the salesman and the service department. The service department went above and beyond my expectations the whole time I had the car. If anyone can give you a good deal I would say its them. They have 13 gsr's and 5 mr's in stock! Or at least for now

I'm currently deployed in Afghanistan but I decided on getting the X before we left the US. I currently drive the only Si in the world that is bone stock, but all that will change as soon as I get back to the states.

I live in Miami but my unit is stationed in North Carolina. My plan was to buy my X on the drive down for our 30-day post-deployment leave and show up at home in my new car. I was seriously considering visiting RC Hill, as they seem to have the largest selection, and I could pick a color based on what it looks like in person as opposed to pictures. Thanks to you guys, though, I'm no longer just considering it. RC Hill is where I will buy my X.

Thanks a bunch, gentlemen!
