How Much for a new Evo / Is this a good deal? *Sticky/Merge* (Includes EvoM vendors)
#3616
So I am currently looking to buy my first Evo. I have a 2004 Acura RSX Type S that I bought brand new in 2004 and it's time to move on! Looking for some thoughts/advice on my offer. I am looking to lease because I will be living in NYC in 2 years and will not want a car at that time. Mitsubishi currently has 24 month lease offers, which is perfect for me. Went to the dealership today in Paramus, NJ. Was offered a GSR, black, with no packages for 249/month with $4,500 down. I forgot to ask the annual mileage but I am going to assume it's 10,000/year. I really want the SS package but unfortunately that raised the monthly payment by a lot. With the SS package and 4,500 down they quoted me at about 320/month. What do you guys think about both of these deals? They have the MSRP for the black GSR with no add-ons listed at 35740, residual value at 26090, and rate at .00008. Any thoughts? Can I do better on the SS deal? Thanks!

I will post some picks of the pictures I took of their "secret book"

Here is a pic I took real quick when he went to get his manager to explain the deal to us. This is from the Lease offers for the months of thru for 2012 models, so the deals probably changed a bit since then. I'm sure you can ask to look at the sheet when you go to negotiate.
From what I see, the money fact you were offered is lower than the .00010 offered a couple months ago, so that's good.

Don't forget to add in your dealer fees, destination, taxes etc...
34500 sounds like a fair price but it might be some wiggle room left.
If it were me I would try and work with the dealership to try and make the numbers match what you are willing to pay.
Also remember so far there are no Octane Blues for 13, so if you are set on picking up an OB your choices/dealerships/prices are somewhat limited "inside the box".
Just remember your ALWAYS going to find someone that "bought" the car for $5000 or $5 cheaper than what you pay.

Is this a good deal??? 2011 Evo X GSR
Hey guys this is my first post been a lurker for a while. Right now I have a 2005 BMW 545i my tranny is about to die I wanted to trade it in for the evo x. I've been searching online found some good deals and some bad deals. I came across what I think is a great deal please correct me if I'm wrong. Its a 2011 Evo X GSR with 3,500 miles it looks great dark grey color only option it has its the FAST key. They asking 28k for it do you guys think its a good deal? Also I've never driven a manual car so it would be a great learning lesson. I took it for a test drive for about twenty mins I managed to stall the car about 3 times. Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks guys!

For the mileage, if the car is stock it doesn't sound bad at all. I paid 10k more than that for an 11GSR new with Sun and Leather too.
Dark gray is also called Graphite Gray, it's a great color IMO.
Also by 2011 you really don't have to worry about the fuel pump relays, TC overfill, Diff-Pins, or Timing Chain issues that popped up on previous years. Also the 11 has bigger side skirts than the 08-10, which flows really nicely. Hard for me to say much bad, since you can see I have an 11 too, and I felt I was picky when I was searching.
