Taxes and Reg

California has some of the worst taxes and DMV fees in the country. Los Angeles is even worse then where I live in CA.

is this a good deal?? Pics inside!!!!

hey guys, i been looking for a evo for a while now. Its hard to find a decent one out here in NY, but i think i found the one today!

its a 2010 Evo X WW with 33K miles. its not a SSS. Ill be buying it for 25,000+ tax and dealership fees, ill be looking around 30000.
The salesman, told me that the car was put back to stock. The things it had were just some bolt ons (intake, exhaust, intercooler, and a aftermarket clutch)
the only thing that the car has right now is a new clutch.

i wanted something with atleast a atermarket head unit but oh well.
carfax says its a 2 owner car, but 2nd owner used it for like 15000 miles. i think it stayed within a dealership to be used as a demo car-according to the salesman i spoke to today.
No accidents, clean title.

So what do you guys think i should do?

I would stay away for two reasons. "Put back to stock" and "Demo car".

Its a 2011 Evo X GSR with 3,500 miles it looks great dark grey color only option it has its the FAST key. They asking 28k for it do you guys think its a good deal? Also I've never driven a manual car so it would be a great learning lesson. I took it for a test drive for about twenty mins I managed to stall the car about 3 times. Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks guys!

San Diego dealers are crap. They don't have much selection. Go with HB Mitsu "Smash" or the 2 Dallas Mitsu dealers. I bought mine from Lewisville Mitsu last year for $1000 under invoice. Right after I bought it they started giving people flat screen TVs with new car purchases, but I already have enough TVs.

2013 lease deal

Hey guys,

Quick question for all you Evo gurus; I traded my 08 GSR a year ago and and I want to get back to driving mitsubishi's work of art. My local dealership is offering me a 2013 WW GSR w/ SSS package on a 24 month lease . It would be 350 a month after taxes with zero down. No security deposit with 12k miles a year and they would be throwing in some all weather floor matts. Car will be worth 27.5k at the end.

Considering what you have paid or deals offered; should I jump all over it ? Or back out ?

Not a bad deal for a 2013. Considering its a lease, that might hinder modding it (if you plan to)...

But, he could get into the deal with the full intention of getting a loan for the 27.5 in 2 years and outright buying it.

I did go for it; I think it's a steal since I shopped around for other cars in the area. I learned quite a bit on Mitsubishi and how aggressive they are with their financing right now. I do think I'll keep it at the end. If anybody is about to lease let me know and I'll explain how my deal went down
