would you guys consider a base model 2011 evo mr for 36k with 11k miles on it a good deal. I would think i could get it for less. Its at a mitsubishi dealership so maybe i could work in like the aero kit up grade and some other things too?

If you want an X get an X. The mods wouldn't scare me off because they are good quality. eBay stuff would send me running.

All you can do is drive and make sure nothing seems wrong. If the car seems clean and well taken care of then you'll probably be ok. Is this a dealer or private sale?

Private seller. I am a bit reluctant because after all these mods, I expected the price to be a bit higher. I can be wrong too because I am still researching a lot about evos. That is why I posted here. I will be going for a test drive this weekend.

Thank you for your reply.

Is the car Blue???

Anyway. the price is about right because dealers will not give him much with mods like that. Heck, there is a dealer by me that still has 6 2011's brand new in stock. going for at least $3k off if not more.

If you want an X get one, but please, please, please do a proper leakdown and compression so you know that the engine is solid.

I agree if you could do a leak-down of the engine that will show how healthy it is. The rest of the mods look good. Good luck!

Haha most these small dealerships have no idea what they are talking about. Back in 2008 I got in an argument with a couple salesman at this tiny Mitsu. dealership because they were very firm on the fact the evo x has a twin turbo, on account it is a twinscroll turbocharger... Point being, go check it out before you buy, most salesman are clueless!

Also after looking at the car faxs it looks like the dealer bought it at auction. Does that usually mean that the buyer couldn't make payments and the car was repossessed. So this guy could of probably beat on it pretty bad knowing he wasn't going to keep it. Or is that me being paranoid.

Looks like Edmunds has it at a fair market value at 30197. Way less. I would offer 32200 with the aero package otd. That sound doable.

Mods really have to ban this account. Second post I've seen with comments like this. Get out troll.

I agree I would go w/ an Evo VIII or IX over a X any day... But if you would rather buy a X by all means do so... Also w/ buying a used Evo you want to purchase one as STOCK as possible...
