How Much for a new Evo / Is this a good deal? *Sticky/Merge* (Includes EvoM vendors)
#4292
I feel like I'm the only one not form the coast haha
I'm driving to Minneapolis, MN (form Fargo, ND) to HOPEFULLY snag either:
2013 with 12k miles
2013 with 27k miles
The one with fewer miles was leased for about a year, and made very frequent trips to the dealer during that year... Definitely going to ask about that. Anyone bought a previously leased Evo X? I feel like the person owning a vehicle during a lease would beat the ever living crap out of it, since they have no vested interest in it's longevity...? Thoughts? On the plus side, brand new tires! Probably the Advan tires though
The one with 27k miles was also a lease, but made fewer trips to the shop. Also cheaper...
Between NADA, KBB, and Edmunds they both seem to be priced decently low. I doubt they'll budge much from their current listed price. Regardless, I'm willing to accept their current prices - seem pretty fair imo.
Thoughts?
ps - feel bad for you guys on the coast. From the little reading i've done it seems like your evo's get jacked up in price more compared to us midwesterners...?

Both of those are around 30k, see how low you can get them on price.
It may end up that you can get a brand new car for a couple grand more.
Even up north they are not holding to MSRP, so if you are going to pay 30k for a used one with 12k, wouldn't you pay 33 for a brand new one?

They didn't budge much - Basically $500 that they just put on top of my 15 year old eclipse, for a total trade in of $1000. Other dealerships also quoted me $500 for the trade in, and I couldn't convince them otherwise
I did think about that Maddog - ultimately, I'd rather save 3 grand, and just hope the car wasn't too abused for the first 12k of its life. Additionally, Im able to pay off the financed amount in half the time allotted for the loan. Adding another $3k + more tax = more interest to add to the cost of a vehicle that I assess to be of similar value to the 2013, based off of assessed trade in values.
Ty for the suggestion none the less!

Hello all, new to the group and new to Evos. i am really just postibng to get my 15 posts in lol. i just purchased my 2014 gsr in plano TX. i was looking at 2015 STIs but the subaru dealership just wouldnt work with me. i ended up getting 12k for my 08 honda si at plano mitsubishi. i think it was 38k

Dealer told me 39k for a 2015 gsr with sight and sound. Does this sound about right or do you think I can get a lot better deal. I think the car itself was approx 36k and like 2.8k for sight and sound. Something like that for 2015 gsr models, or so I was told.

Ya, I asked for actual paperwork for the vehicle which they don't even have yet. The 2015 evo's look like they wont hit dealerships for another month or two so it is a slight problem when trying to break down numbers I guess. I have to call around to some other dealerships and get the best price I can, before I put any type of down payment to hold one when they come in, in the color I want and the package I want. At first the told me like 39,900 and I was like wheres this number from and the kind of stuttered around a bit then came back at 39, for a gsr with sight and sound. But like I said I am going to call some other dealers and see what they say.
