Thats for sure. That is a good idea, Once they reply back to my email I will see if we can talk the deal out over the phone tomorrow and see what all they need from me to make it go a little quicker tomorrow as well.

That's how my deal went, too. Contacted dealer via email, told them price I wanted based off various info, they responded, I went around once more and put a deposit down over text message with the salesman lol. I signed papers when I got there and drove away. Deal was already done before I ever showed up and they didn't play any games.

This is more and more the way of the car world now, and it very much should be.
The more people that don't just walk on a dealer lot and get ripped off the better.

Just to give a little update. Spoke to another sales person since my sales lady was not there today. He confirmed the price of 43,700 and said I got locked in before the price mark up. I did ask what all I could do to help speed up the process and since I do not have a fax all I could do is fill out the online credit application since they need copies of stuff. So I did that. If everything works out tomorrow I should be trading in my 2010 X SE for a loaded 2014 X MR
He did make mention they are one of the few dealers on the east coast that have new MR's. Which I'm not sure is entirely true but thought that was odd lol.

I work at a dealership myself and we just got a 2011 Evo X GSR in wicked white with 37,000 miles on it as a trade-in. I'm fairly new to Evo's and the technicality of cars in general. My manger is selling me the car for $24,900+tax. I live in California so the tax is about 9-10%. The only mods I know that are on the car is an exhaust.
Can someone give me some advice or suggestion if the price is good?

Carfax seems clean. No history of accidents or problems. The car is in excellent condition, as far as the exterior is concerned. No paint chips behind the rear doors. As for the clutch, I have yet to give it a full test drive. This will be the first car I purchase which is why I'm a little hesitant to pull the trigger. Is the price good for a car like this? And are there any other things I should check?

They are selling it to you for pretty much what it is worth but I'd have to know what all aftermarket has been done. Too much altered and the car is definitely worth less.
(Oh and yes, you should check for signs of abuse and find out every bit of maintenance info you can get a hold of)
