So, how do you figure you can get one for $34-35k? Is my math correct?

Invoice on the aero package is $1,499. So, you are correct on that one.
your math is right, but the invoice price cant be 36089, when theres dealers on this site offering the base mr for 33,699

Interesting. I used edmunds.com for the invoice pricing. Either they are wrong or the hold back is a lot more than 3%.

yeah im not sure either, and i know a dealer isnt going to give up the info, but seeing the dealers online offer such low prices makes me think the invoice numbers i've seen are inflated

I made on offer on a base MR to a dealer yesterday for 32K and he didn't bite... said he couldn't come close to that

32k for an mr seems to low, if the online dealers are asking close to 34k after destination i'd start around there

32K is a mere 1699 under what I am seeing on the forums.... I don't consider that too low. And to add all the other factors in; no 09 this year and the 10's should be measurably better than the 08's... the 08 is already a year old, the car isn't worth more than 32K, and more realistically, 30K to me.

Well considering some dealers are advertising MR Tech's for $36K and change I think its fair to say that a "good deal" is ~$35K.

Where have you seen this?

I have been searching and haven't found this kind of deal on an MR with the Tech package?

hi everyone i'm new the forums.

i've been comparing to see what's the better value between a base x vs a x with sss package.. i got quoted 31k out the door for a base model or $35k for x with sss package. i understand that you can always add a system, hids, and spoiler afterwards (aftermarket) what's the better deal? should i just save up a little more and get the SSS? thanks.

The SSS package is only a $2k option. There is no way you should have to pay an extra $4k for no reason.

Also, it costs too much to add the HID's and spoiler without just buying the kit. That's the only reason I bought the SSS package with mine.

The SSS package should be $2000 or less to have added to an Evo. That $4K price difference is way too much.

thanks for your input.. yeah it's odd because the base price seems reasonable.. but the SSS price seems oddly out of place
