The dealer offered 18000 for my IX, with SSL with 46k miles and bad clutch. It has the mods in the sig. They want 27000 with rebates for their red GSR with SSS. What do you guys think?
I really want blue, but red is all that they have.

With current pricing and rebates what would be a decent deal on a bare bones base GSR? No trade, out the door. With 0% apr. 30k?

Well, I got my Evo X for 28.5K OTD [plus TTL] with my own financing, so if you add the 2k rebate back, then minus 4k for the SSS/Aero/SprtPkg. Then you'd end up somewhere about 26k for a base GSR car at 0% plus whatever your states TTL fees amount to. That, in my opinion, would be a good deal.

OTD means: with TTL included in your price. So to correct you... You paid 28.5+ TTL somewhere around 30.5 OTD =)

Congrads!

If you shop around make a few calls willing to travel to a far dealership you will find a hell of a deal somewhere. I searched 5 dealerships and 1 came out 3k cheaper than the other 4! Base a good buy would be prolly around 28k OTD. But again if you search around you could get lucky and find a deal lower around 26.5-27.5 OTD. Call the nearest 6-7 dealers something may pop up.

If you would have bothered to read the previous posts in this thread, you would have learned that my TTL costs me ~$77. So my actual OTD cost for my car was $28,656 on the money. Learn to read and not assume you know things that you don't.

Sorry some individuals dont have time to read 49 pages, but on another note I was correct you did have to pay TTL on top of 28.5k. Just not much at all in TTL, but again 28.5 was not OTD. To add a little info 358 miles off the lot on your evo a dealer is more than likely to give you an even better deal on that evo than with 30, 40, 50 miles. That also plays a big role that you did not state in your last post that probably had a good impact on your price of 28.5. Sorry if what I said came out wrong, but just wanted the hopefully new buyer to know what to look for. So if the evo has 300+ miles look to save even more!
Im not assuming thats why Im on the forums to learn and help...

Number of miles and color definitely come into play. If you are completely flexible on miles on the car and color then you'll get a lower price, though not a better deal if you care about those things.

I really want blue, but red is all that they have.

Schmuve1...$27k with the rebates included in that price is a good deal since MSRP is nearly $36k on that car.

As far as the trade amount for your IX, I'm not sure if that's good or not given the car has a bad clutch. If it covers what you owe on the car, than you're fine.

If you really want blue, I would suggest waiting to find a blue one. You wouldn't want to regret your decision in 3 months and keep kicking yourself because you didn't buy blue. I've been there and it sucks.

Good luck and keep searching. Since you're in Phoenix, you should check out some of the dealers in SoCal. They have huge inventories and good deals.

you got it for this price but wasnt new, it all ready had almost 400 miles.you never know if they were abusive with the car when new and the first 600miles are critical for the engine good luck on that.
