A lil off topic here but inline with the thread, is $30,640 + TTL a good deal for a WW GSR w/ SSS with 803 miles on it? The sales guy told me that it was previously owned by a kid that his mother can't get the car financed. So they had to pull it from him after 4 days of ownership. I know it sounds bull, but that's what he said. He also stated that the car has never been registered.

This is the same car the I encountered problems with after a test drive in the other thread.
After reading about the car in the other thread... No. It sounds like the dealership is giving you the run around. Besides, if a kid got the car and mom could not finance it there is no telling the kind of abuse that was done to it for that many miles in 4 days..which seems excessive on its own; test driven or not.

Stay away from that car. Something doesn't seem right about that situation. Also, it's not a good deal at all for a car with that many miles. You should be able to get one with under 50 miles for that much.

That's a good price! But I guess they made up for the discount with the trade in value. How much do you owe?

The Mitsubishi dealership around me only has loaded ones that all go for $38,000+. I was contemplating selling privately and ordering from South Coast, but I figure I can afford it with or without $6000 off MSRP combined with 0%. I'll probably be able to get $5,000 off with the $2,000 rebate. My sister just got her contract for her new job, so she can cosign with me and the interest rate should be pretty low since both of our credit scores are tier one (740+?). I don't want the navigation, but I guess I'm getting it anyway. It's probably a hell of a lot better than my $300 navi.

So I'm thinking that they will appraise my Civic for $2,000 less than what I owe on it. $38,000-$5,000+$2,000=$35,000. Then add taxes (7%) and the rest. Then $10,000 downpayment. My monthly payments should come to around $500 a month. I am going to try to get $4,000 off MSRP + 0%. That would be better.

Either way, I'll have around $3,000 play money. Volk VR G2's cost $3400 shipped. I think I know what my first mod will be

I would really like to get an X with less than 100 miles on it. I'm going for another color anyway. I originally liked WW, but then I realized I'll pay top dollar to get one.

Thanks for the comments guys! Much appreciated!

I'm picking up a RR GSR w/ SSS, Aero and interior sport package for $26,500 tomorrow (48 miles on odo). I wasn't really planning on getting an evo yet but I couldn't pass this deal up.

It is their last one - I can probably get you a copy once everything goes through.

If it helps there is another dealership around here with 6 of them on the lot - all have SSS/aero and they are asking $29.8k or so.
