Been looking at reviews and youtube videos of the new 2010 Camaro SS (MSRP $31K) and that is one hell of a super sexy & fast car, 422hp V8, 6-speed tranny, 4.7secs 0-60, same MPG as the EvoX! Sounds really good to me.

/sigh @ Mitsu dealers playing hard-to-get
I'm thinking your offer is too low for them to even counter? $30k OTD means about $27k before TTL in CA and both dealers were asking for $31.5k with 0% financing. I know there's some bargain room but certainly not at nearly 5 grand off plus the 0%.

The new Camaro SS is very nice and who can say no to a big V8 at around $30k but I'm still not sold on the interior design. If I don't get the Evo, my other choice is actually a LS3 Corvette - hard to say no to an American legendary sports car for only $40k new.

I don't know bout $30K OTD being unreasonable as the X is already over-a-year-old model, plus given the economy's current state (cars not moving on dealership lots) & stiff competition with all the new cool cars coming out. It's supose to be a buyer's market. The only way I'm taking my money off the bank is if I'm getting the X at the price I want. If they don't want to sell the car, no problem with me... I get to keep my cash.

The Camaro SS (I heard) uses the Corvette's engine, and it can seat 4. Being a family man, that is a must for me. <3 the Camaro's styling too! Autobot, transform!!!

In some of their other ads the description says that the price reflects $3k cash down. Bait and switch.

I see what you're saying, but that ad states the selling price without mentioning any down payment required. All it mentions is that all available discounts/rebates from Mitsubishi are included to get the price (I'm assuming that's the $2000 customer cash, $2000 dealer cash, $500 loyalty and $500 military). Even if it's a mistake, they have to legally honor any advertised price.

Anyhow, there is something weird about it. The condition is listed as "used" but the car only has 58 miles (according to the ad). Very odd...

n00b. haha j/k the stealership will lowball you on the price for your RA, expect to take a good hit on the price. I was told by mitsu when i bought my 03 lancer, the moment you drive off the lot, you lose $2000 in value. True or not, remember its the stealership you're playing with here.

this may be a down question but what if u went to a dealership and told them that you wanted to buy to cars do you think u would get a better deal. Like if me and another person on this forum went and said we were only gonna buy the cars if we both get the deals we want. Im sure they still screw you but do guys think u can get a better deal that way?

might not be that smart of me to post this since it'll probably lower the amount of cars for me to choose from but....

Mitsubishi of Serramonte in CA is offering the following deals:

8K off mrsp w/ 0% apr or

8K off mrsp + 2K customer cash back w/o the 0%.

this is on all the evo's they have in stock. alot of red ones, think they have one grey one, couple of blue ones, and maybe one silver one. all of them have aero's on them. they probably have like 10 or so in stock.

this is the price you get without any bargining...not sure if you can get it down any lower or not.

happy evo shopping.

johnny
