Paid 2500 under invoice + TTL, got an amazing 17k trade in value for my 09 GTS 5spd with sun/sound and navi
Just out of curiosity...if I got the math right on this deal:

MSRP on a RR X GSR SSS/Aero/IntSprtPkg = 38,083

Invoice Price on said vehicle = 35,317

Negotiated Dealer Discount on Evo X = 2,500

Trade-in Value on a 2009 Lancer GTS ~ 17,000

Final Difference ~ 15,817

If I did that correctly, I just have one question for you. What happened to the 11-12K final difference that you were talking about for months? Seems as if you just threw your hands up and took the first deal that walked along. Were you not able to negotiate an additional 2-3k off of the final difference with this dealer or any other that you talked to?

^ I guess he originally aimed for the SSS package only which could have shaved off $2.5K, or even base GSR which could have been $4.5K off. But instead, he got the one with Aero+InteriorPkg on top of the SSS option. What probably made him pull the trigger was the trade offer on his LancerGTS which is a pretty good one considering others dealers were only going to give him $14-15K. If he was in cali, he'd be lucky to get $14K on his trade.

^^ yup, i realized what i was aiming for months ago wasnt going to happen. I visited 4 mitsubishi dealers in MA within the last month and called/emailed over 12 other mitsu dealers in the northeast in the past 3-4 months. This was the best deal I found that was legit. As soon as the 08s are gone (less then 8 GSRs left in my state), the 2010s will be hard to buy for less then invoice nevermind there surely wont be 0% financing on them, and finally there would be no way in hell I could get 17k trade in value at that point with 2010 lancers also on lots.

I'm going to the Triplex tomorrow. Our agreed terms are $4,000 under MSRP, 0% financing, and I'll have roughly $2,000 in negative equity. With $8,000 down my monthly payment should be $500 a month.

Read the disclaimer. That price is with all the rebates.

Guys,

Please let me know your thoughts on a quote of $31,849 for Apex Silver with Aero/SSS/Interior sport package, in the North East area?

Thanks

Give us more deals. Which rebates are included? Are you getting the 0%? How many miles on the car? What color is the car?

adambl03,

$4,000 incentives, no 0%, 15 miles and silver as stated above, its basically invoice less $4,000.

Thanks,

I was going to pay cash, it's $35,849 less $4,000 which works out to $34,249 OTD, I just wondered how that compared to what others have paid. The MSRP is $38,038. I was perhaps considering used, but with the Govt incentive on taxes, that's at least another $2,150 back at the end of the year as well.

if u read the fine print its not the 2150 that you get back, what you are allowed to do is write off that amount from your taxable income, essentially you will file taxes and write off that much as non taxable, in a sense it will be like you earned that much less for the year. if your in a 25% tax bracket the actual amount of money you see back would be 25% of 2150
