I was just browsing ebay and found this evo x. I'm just curious who's it was, and why it's going for pretty cheap.

maybe because it is a 2008 with 20k miles, mods, no warranty and needs a transfer case (just kidding with some of those).

It actually explains right on the site why it's so cheap. It's basically overstock and being sold at dealer only prices to the genral public and here's why: From the website in quotes:
"The Feldmann Imports wholesales over 60 vehicles a month at dealer only auctions: Duplicate Inventory Trade-ins, Trade-ins that exceed company year and/or mileage guidelines, and Front-line Fully Serviced Vehicles that did not sell within company's in stock policy. The average nationwide total fee and expenses for the buyer and seller combined at dealer only auctions has sky rocketed to over $600.00 per vehicle transaction. Ebay Motors charges us a total of $80.00 when we sell a vehicle. We will only offer our best vehicles for auction on ebay, and price our reserve the same way we do, when we sell them at dealer only auctions. Dealers and the general public are welcome to bid, and buy from us at ebay wholesale prices! Our goal is to sell the top 30% of our wholesale vehicles on ebay, 216 units annually for the same average wholesale amount we sold for at dealer only auctions. If we meet our goal the savings would be $129,600.00 annually! You Buy Wholesale! We all Save Money! We hope to have you as a Happy Customer soon!!"

So, I did something this past weekend. It's been in the werks (funnny once you get to the end of this) for a while now....a once in a 365 day chance came along. I took it.
Sold the X for an 06 C55 AMG direct from Germany (no speed limiter :uzi: ).
Here is a link to the X: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=320314268280
A local MBZ dealer worked on getting the car over here, and registered-I had a blast with the X-and I'll be in the market for a track only car by mid summer 09 (thinking a IX rs, or another X if they are cheaper then....if).
The MBZ is a different car-I've posted locally and nationally for peeps opnions on the cars-I already know all the #'s on both-hp/tq, width, track, height, weight....they are actually pretty close to each other.
I'll stick around (if I can )-but the whole point of this is-if you check the pics on the link, you can see a close up of rmperformance, and *******.com!
Enjoy!

^ The link you posted has a "buy it now" price for $32,990 and now the OP posted a link on ebay for a "buy it now" price for $27,500. Whats the deal with that. $27,500 is way cheap for that car and if they are able to sell if for $27,500 then the guy that traded got taken bad.
