I dont know if this was already asked before, how much is the weight between the Steel roof(SUNROOF) VS Aluminum roof(no sunroof) EVO?

 

you can put a sunroof in an alum roof (Outlander does it)-the largest factor is the motor, glass and track system to open/close the roof.
IIRC-making the roof in the X alum-lowered the CG of the car by 1.5-2" vs a steel version-something akin (again iirc) to lowering the whole car 4" or more.

 

Thanks for the information! But I was asking is the EVO X without the sunroof is 500lbs less with the sunroof... But is it worth getting the EVO X with the sunroof and NAVI, or choose the aluminum rood EVOX? What Is the weight of these two Vehicles?

 

probably not too much more weight but the problem is that weight is up top affecting your center of gravity. but unless u track ur car u wont know the diff

 

evo X over here doesnt have the sun roof option-but I highly doubt it is a 500# dif.

 

Yeah, I'm kind of curious why they didn't put the sunroof into an aluminum roof since that's exactly what the outlander has...oh well. I really, really, really, really, really like having sunroof/moonroofs in cars. But that's just a personal preference I suppose.
