lol You guys are funnyyy hahhaaha Good luck with the GTR amazing car.... IMHO Nissan should take care of the tranny problems after all it is a stock car with a feature thats been offered from the factory....
Give it some time and nissan will warranty the issue They dont want to do it now because its a new car and they know they could get away with rapage...

Some people need to stop spending so much time reading magazines, and spend some time at the track. I guarantee you that you'll have much better perspective!!
You can spend $15K~25K on an EVO X and can match the performance of a stock GTR, but Cobalt is limited to a certain amount of power and grip being that it's FWD and weak chasis.
That being said, a tuned GTR....I can barely wait to see what this car can do.

if i were you, i would spend money on the weight reduction. Like seats etc. And leave the car stock. If you can manage to take out 400-500 lb from it , you will have a real beast. Weight reduction might will cost almost a same as a hook up, but worth much more on the track, and the OVERALL performance

I already have pair of recardos and took the rear seats off. Honestly, it doesn't seem all that different.
What this car needs are slicks.!!!
And extra horse power never hurts, besides the tuning this car is cheap.
You thought EVO made horsepower cheap, GTR makes 30 WHP with additional 1lb of boost!! It's just sick.

Well let me say congrats on the GTR! And that's cool that you track it, instead of it just being a garage queen. Forget all the haters, EVOs are great cars "for the money" but you're in a whole other league with a GTR.

I think the vinyl stickers are couple hundred bucks. I haven't got a permanent number yet, because I haven't finished the cup school. Once I finish the school, POC will assign me a permanent number.

I hate to say it, but I think +400 WHP EVO X with slicks can spank the GTR because there aren't any slicks or R-Compound tires available for the stupid 20 inch rims.
I had to order 19 inch NISMO wheels for $9K!!! So that I can some descent rubber on the car. And I won't get the weels for another 2~3 months. It's killing me.

Jooyoung - How was the ride with the KWV3s compared to the stock EVO 10 struts? After I bump up the HP on my Evo, I'll look at coilovers or just springs.
I had V3s on my WRX and they were great on the track but pretty brutal on the I-5 commute to work.

KW V3s are rated as one of the best coilovers for the street. Check out the suspension shootout issue in Sport Compact. In my WRX, I found them to be comfortable on most asphalt surfaces (smoother than the stock GSR struts) but rougher than the stock GSR struts on the concrete on I-5, which is uncomfortable in about any car. They usually require a higher ride height than most coilovers. You can dial them in well for the track because you can adjust both the bump and rebound.
