Specialty X Exhaust

Just wanted to post this here and see what you guys think about this exhaust. i personally like it amongst the other exhaust that have come out so far. a little bit pricey especially since you can get the entire turbo back of T1R for their price but the design and craftsmanship i think is really superb.

i am not a vendor nor am i connected with them in any way.

Very nice. I have never heard of them before, but they look like a new company that has just formed as a sister company to specialty-Z for nissans. Not bad.

Wow, looks like ETS, but better quality, and there isn't 19 parts to deal with, and cheap hose clamps. Hum....

This is definitely one of the best looking and sounding exhausts for the X. It looks like a JDM piece.

By the way, the video on their website is how every company should show off their exhaust. Specialty-X shows the exhaust from all perspectives - inside, outside, cruising, accelerating, etc. I had to dig through the forums and youtube to find decent videos of all the other exhausts on the market. Props to Specialty-X for that video.

I cant figure out why this exhaust is getting hyped up so much. It looks like an upgraded ETS or agency power as mentioned, but more expensive.

JDM quality? Lol, no way. No way any JDM company would have a stamped Y collector like i think i see with this exhaust.

DO i think the exhaust looks nice? Sure, but not for the asking price. The best part about it is the tips, which are perfect..but im not spending that much when I can get the same results and sound from someone else for cheaper.

I like the Agency Power exhaust. But then again im kinda biased. (this was without their hangers, with their hangers it now sits flush with the outlets on the bumper.)

This is what a high quality "JDM" Y pipe look like in an exhaust system.

Compare that to this Y pipe and I hope we can make all these "JDM quality" opinions disapear.

those tips are amazing! Reminds me of the nissan gtr. It's sad that as I look through all these different brand exhausts, many of them have ok looking tips, nothing spectacular. That's what the evo x needs...awesome
Big tips
