Mitsubishi Reflash
So i have read about several people getting a new factory flash that fixes some of the little quirks and i would like to get this. Do i just go to the dealership and ask for it or do i have to pay????
Sorry if this question has been asked a thousand times

I just got back from my local dealership where they performed the reflash on my car. I complained to them about idle fluctuation and a hesitation after 5,000 RPM. They plugged into my ECU and saw that there was a TSB for the relfash and they loaded the software onto my car for free. I am told the reflash is for all cars made before April 2008. You can check your vehicle's production date by looking at the sticker on the driver's side frame when you open the door.

I had my reflash on Thursday and it's been driving a lot better, less idle problems etc.. I had 5 check engine lights in 4000 miles so the dealer said this would fix it... We'll see...

Not sure, i had to get my aero kit repair it was sagging in one spot. But the flash itself can't be too long. I see that they would have charge me like 29 bucks, if it wasn't covered. But that might not include labor.
I never had check engine lights, just the erratic iddle twice and after 5k sometimes it felt like i was not making anymore power.

I have surging power above 5k and idle problems as well. Dealer didn't know anything about the reflash until I informed them (wasted a trip to the dealership though!). Hopefully I can get in this week or next to get this taken care of. Wonder when the next reflash will be out?

ever since i reflashed my car, the idle is better, but now the car has a bog/jerk while cruising. It only happens for a second at like ~2500-3000 rpm. it's really annoying... i'd rather have the crappy idle than the jerk while driving
