Engine code help
My check engine light keeps coming on, i have been turning it off with a scanner but it just comes on again in a few miles. The codes are P0137 1 of 2 (02 sensor low voltage bank 1), P0137 2 of 2 (02 sensor high voltage bank 1) and P0138 (forgot what this one was). Im pretty sure its coming from my exhaust. I have a mechanical fix (no cat). I also have a problem with hot air going to my intake even with a heat shield that causes my revs to oscillate up and down from 1000 down to 500 rpms, but im pretty sure the two are not related.
Anyone have any insight on what the problem could be and how to fix it? Thanks for the help in advance.
Nick

talk to UR. You shouldn't be getting these with their test pipe. Now since the rear o2 was difficult to remove, maybe you broke something
If you've got a drill press or something that can take a 1/2" bit, you can build a mechanical fix using a $2.50 part from autozone.

And throw the ecutek tune out of balance and loose a lot of power? Yeah, that's a good idea. What he should do is just have the CEL flashed off with ecutek. When I had my STi, I had an ecutek tune before going to the Access Port, and on both reflash interfaces, we were able to disable the cat CEL that comes with having a test pipe. Should be easy. To the OP: contact whoever your tuner is and see if he can just reflash your ecu to permanently disable the CEL that you are getting. Problem solved.
