Just a quick question? what voids the warranty as far as modding your car?

Depends on what breaks..

If your suspension blows out and you have an exhaust, they will repair the suspension.

If a piston goes on you and you have an exhaust, they might not honor the warranty.

In the end, any engine modifications or bolt ons your do MOST LIKELY will void your engine and drivetrain warranty.

With Mitsubishi, driving it off the lot voids the warranty.

b4 it and we would be ok.i even got the wheel warranty that covers the factory wheels and any aftermarket wheels i get, but the best way to confirm all the warranty stuff is to call and ask Mitsu of America or ask a service manager b4 any mods

It seems that way. I'm on my third Evo and I've has some fights with various dealers.

Example
Me "My carpet anchor broke
Dealer "You have an exhaust and intake, it must be your fault"
Me "Its a f@#$@in carpet anchor!"
Dealer "We need to check with the Mitsu rep"
Me "Call them then!"
Dealer "The rep says we can cover it"

Just be prepared for that level of stupidity. Some dealers are much better than others.

what if lets say ur exhiats and intake was the reason for breaking ur carpet anchor, then would they just go automaticaly and void ur warranty or just tll u that they won;t cover it?
i mean when do they go ahead and put it in the computer that ur warranty has been void? anyone?
thanks,

yeah mitsu is defiantly NOT good at covering warrenty, ask around with people that have done mods and which modfriendly dealerships are... but almost anything can and proably will void your warrenty
