tire use after racing

Anybody noticed , the X use more even the tires then the old evos does in racing?
I got a "semi soft " R888's and end of the season/ i run it only 4 road race track day/ Looks to me just awesome.
I put them more then 9k miles, i have a track suspension set up also.
Who ever drove with me they know we do make turns as well.
SO i usually have to buy new tires every season, but seems to me these tires have more in them. Pics can be made if some one interested.

I just cant believe how the Toyos looks like this, after this year.
If i dont mark them, i probably would have a hard time /very hard/ to figure it out which was a front or the rear..

This defenietly have to do something with the new S-AWC.

so you're saying you ripped through a set of tires in 9k miles, evenly?

OT but I've seen a ton of your posts and have to ask: where are you from/what's your native language? just wondering

yes that is exactly i try to say. Specially the R888's are much softer then the factory ones.
And my VIII and IX i just simply destroyed the tires. The X seems to me is much friendlier on tires.

I'm Hungarian and my native languages is Hungarian also. It is sucks, only 12 million people speak it in the whole world, and really nothing is even close to it.
Very very old and unchanged languages. Only "close" languages is the Finnish. /Finland/ And thats the big help , right?
Some say it is a very very hard languages to learn. We have STRONG accent also.
So i'm proper f%^cked.
And my primary help to learn English is the net. Which is also not soo good.

I think this is just the poor allignment issue from the factory. But since you've had a race setup this should of not been an issue in ur IX

well you seem to communicate decently on the internet. and your comprehension is better than your expression.

hungarian is crazy because it is unrelated to any other language around europe. it is right up there with euskadi (basque) in spain.

so off topic and sorry for highjacking

Robevo, the first time I read your first post, I read that the X used MORE tire than the IX/VIII.

I don't have anything to compare against, but my first thought is that the X is heavier, so it should use more tire...

The X is wider than the older gens. Maybe that is spreading the weight around a bit making it more stable?

i'm guessing the the S-awc makes the car preatty neutral in turns. So it has to effect on tire wearing, which is i think in my case did.
The tires looking much more even then any other tire looked after 6 month on the previous evos.

my advans should hold up for a good 8-9K

Hey Rob,

Wouldn't the X normally use more tires then the 8 and 9's just because of its weight. By going on the track and pushing it you should burn more tires then the lighter 8 and 9. Somebody correct me if im wrong.
