Taller seat rails for EVO X Recaro?

The X seat seems to be sunken deeper than the IX seats and my wife is having visibility problems - lol. I can give her more milk but I'm afraid it won't make her any taller. Anybody know of a replacement seat rail that fits and will raise the seat up?

Or will swapping them to Ralliart seats be the only option? (the stock ralliart seats seems to have height adjustability).

Used the search and it seems HKS Kansai sells one (part number 133-031-001). Only problem is that it seems to be around 300+ dollars. (Japan Parts) + 150$ shipping is a bit much..

Any other options?

Wedge Engineering seems to sell height adjustable brackets for the X - part number W02136T? Anybody have any feedback on how high you can adjust the seats with these?

That looks dangerous. Some impact force is transferred to the body through the flat mating surfaces of the seat and the floor. Removing that surface places greater shear stresses on the bolts. This introduces the possibility of shearing the bolt between the head and the top of the spacer.

The additional resistance to shearing forces provided by moving to Grade 8 from Grade 7 may be enough to cover the additional strain introduced, but I'd still be timid. Especially in the case of the people adding them to only the front or the back, changing the force transfer properties of the seat. Adding them only to the back, for example, would create significant additional stress on the rear bolt in a front impact situation.

Maybe I'm just extra cautious when mucking about with safety equipment, but I'd spend the extra cash on a proper spacer.
