RPM spike on start up
Can someone tell me what the stock RPM spike is on start up? Meaning how high does it rev when you first start it and before it settles around 1500rpms for warming up.

probably from cold start ecu is program a certain amount of intake air flow to keep the car rich so there has to be a little engine movement... once at a certain coolant temp it drops down...
Cold temp morning starting or start period is going to effect the sensors.... so that is why you RPM needle is usually over 1300 when cold start up

i wasnt asking because of an issue. i have to take it to a shop where i don't trust the workers too much so i wanted to see how low i could set the rev limiter in stationary without interfering with start up. i have it at 3k rpms and the regular limiter at 3800 rpms so that it is driveable but not abuseable (if that is even a word). i didn't actually think it spiked that high but wanted to double check since i don't have my car around to see for myself.
