Has anybody rebuilt an evo x transmission case yet? Theres a hole in mines the size of a pencil(uhh, I think I did it) but I'm getting a new one at 4300$. Just wanted to know if their are any rebult and beefed up.

 

transmission or transfer case? but how the heck did u put a hole in either?

 

Transmission case. Im going to find out how tomorrow.

 

Transmission. Transfer case. Two seperate components. There is no transmission case.

 

 

My rear end practically split in half .. The case broke .. all internal components were fine. The cars are pretty freaking weak.

 

If you're talking about transmission try teamrip.com or sheptrans.com . I am sure they will offer X trans rebuilds since its near the same as the 8/9. Hopefully they will offer the evo8 3rd/4th gear conversion too!

 

Ok...rear end, transmission, transfer case....all totally different things.
