Interesting. Do you have photos of the switches? did they use factory switches behind the cup holder?

actually, when they installed the seats, the switches were not availible in the US. I had them mount the switches in the center console under the armrest so that they would be hidden. I am ordering the new 09 cupholder insert with the switches and will have them moved to those when those come in. (will close off the small holes with rubber stops).

If you want, I can take pictures of my current set up.

Please do! thanks! I'm really curious if they used the factory heating elements or an aftermarket set.

Heated seats get nowhere near hot enough to cause any damage.

I just had a kid after using heated seats every day for the past ~3 years. I wouldn't worry about that at all.

1. There will be no lasting decrease if any at all. It takes quite a bit of heat to kill the swimmers.

2. Unless you are trying to get your lady preggers, this would be a bonus in my book.

I've seen where the stock buttons are. If you ever should take apart your seats, let me know if the heating elements are integrated into the cushions or not.

Doubt i'll be taking the seats apart unless i get really frustrated with the seatbelt beep.

My wife says its ironic, coz i live in a tropical country and its 20+degC whole year round whereas guys who need it dont have it
