I would not brag about putting 13k down at 0% financing.
Why would it matter what he put down? 0% just deals with how much of your payments actually go to the car itself and not what you pay in interst. Maybe he just wanted smaller payments? I mean if I had an extra 13K to put down to get my payments lower trust me I would to. More power to him...lol

Oh, I'm not. 5k was actually tradein, and the other 8 was from pocket. I just wasn't about to finance 20k bucks. 17k is as much as I wanted to finance. My payments aren't much more than my si and for less time.

What I am saying is you could of made alot of money off of $13k invested for 5 years than to put it down on a depreciating property.

Yeah, so it could end up possibly going away to a shotty economy. I'll pass for now. I still have money to invest, but won't do it till signs of recovery arise. In all reality, it would be smarter for everyone here to invest in a prius for gas savings and a tax refund than buy an evo. Or hell, buy a beater. Anything other than buy a 30k dollar car. See what I mean. The evo is a toy so to speak and you gotta pay to play. If I didn't put that much down, I wouldn't have it.

Not hating just want everyone to realize the reason you get a deal/0% is because you have to make up for 2 years worth of depreciation. I bought my EVO 1.5 years ago and have that amount of time to enjoy it and get the use out of it so from what I paid until now we are all in the same ballpark, I just have had alot mroe time to enjoy mine.
