So ive had this sound for awhile. not sure when or how it started. im thinking after i got my AEM intake. anways ill try to describe as best as i can and if someone can help me out or have a similar problem that'll be great. so it only comes on when i shift gears. i have a turbosmart bov so itll sound like this whooosh *squaaash*. almost at the same time. i know its not the bov because i put the stocker back and it does the same thing. But when i put the cover on the AEM intake it doesnt do it or maybe it covers up the sound. also the weird thing is when i slowly let go of the gas the sound is longer. it notice it more when i get on the gas and suddenly let go of the gas without going to the next gear. anyone?

It really sounds like the bov. Even the stocker will become audible when you change the intake. The stock box does a good job at hiding the sound. If you're only hearing the sound when lifting off the throttle its got to be the bov.

so its normal? even with the stocker? anybody else have this problem?
