anyone get visors redone?

Maybe its just me, but i really think the sun visors are pretty crappy. it feels like its going to break off whenever i open it.

i was thinking about getting them redone somehow, so they are a bit more sturdy and don't feel so cheap.

So has anyone gone this route and done anything with them?

Can't hang my garage door opener on it cause it's so ghetto cheap, and it bounces around. My old *** 95 toyota isn't even that bad.

Yeah after being in my friend's IS250, I now realize how floppy our visors are.

Oh well..

Its for weight reduction, you guys. So settle down, sometimes its is appropriate to sacrifice common luxuries for performance. LOL...hahahaha

I'm sure it's possible to make a lightweight-but-not-floppy visor.

I would agree with you if they were sturdier in the regular Lancers, but they're not. Fact is, the real problem is not the visor itself, but rather the hinge the visor is attached to. Like I said, can't attach my garage door opener to it because any bump I hit causes the visor to bounce, which will eventually wear out that hinge. Solution is to put nothing on the visor.

What about other Mitsubishi cars? If I remember correctly I think the Galant and eclipse have nicer visors. Maybe those will fit.

this was probably one of the quirks i found in the EVO when i picked it up...

before i had a Mkv GTI and that thing was bad ***.... the visors were sturdy and could extend... it even had lights!

then i saw the visor on the Evo...first thing i said was wow... for 32g's i cant get a visor with lights...

oh well... its mean to go fast and like one of the guys said... "weight reduction"

You should have one made out of carbon fiber with platinum accents.
