I like the grill chrome but the window chrome has got to go. I have gold rims and the chrome looks like S***.

 

the plasti-dip works well on the window trim.

i used it in the chrome on my '09 RA.

you do not ned to sand. just clean with alcohol reeeeeal good.

 

take them out and paint them black

 

Chrome on the sides are pretty subtle - at least it's not like some cars that have the chrome lining around all the windows.

No RalliArt comparisons with the MR nose? Lots of pretty chrome there.

The sides are pretty subtle. Looks better on gray, blue and red cars IMO.

No MR for me...I like Black on Black.

 

I like the chrome on my MR. Ask me again in a few years and I'm not sure if I'll answer the same.

I've got a 95 Tacoma that has the black where the Evo has chrome, and all that stuff has dried out in the sun, and has now cracked and is peeling off to reveal chrome-ish looking metal underneath. IMO, the Evo black will end up looking the same crappy way as the chrome. But maybe not.

 

I never even realized the windows had chrome trim... now its going to bug me.

Plastic on the front and chrome plated metal on the doors.

 

I would get my BBS powder coated graphite color if it wasn't such a pain in the arss. I live in apt complex have no idea what to do with the car with no wheels,lol.
