so i replaced the pill...uninstalled the ap to see if that was the problem, but no i got a P0037 again....so went to the stealership and they looked at it and said it will cost $400 bucks to put a new O2 sensor on it and tuck away the wire....the reason i was blowing fuses and getting the p0037 was because when i installed the test pipe the O2 wire would rub up against the driveshaft and cause the ecu to weird out and blow the fuse....mitsu say they will fix it so i wont have this problem again....fml

Didn't we run your wire in the same place as we ran mine? How did mitsubishi explain the fact that the fuse blowing wasn't at all related to the o2? The fuse was #22 which if I remember was heated rearview mirror or some crap. My wire doesnt hit anything as it is now and I'm pretty sure yours shouldn't be either. Also if it's just your rear 02...you might be able to get by without it which would save you $$$

they said the wire was touching the drive shaft and causing a short somewhere....he said he would fix it so where the wire wouldnt even hang like it was before...maybe i just had a bad o2 from the begining..

No sir,
P1235 is because you are too low on the airflow checks tables. P1238 is too high.
In other words P1235 is an undershoot code while P1238 is an overshoot code both dealing with the trustfull airflow checks tables.
To the O.P. sounds like you may have some harness damage somewhere causing a short.

P1238 is APP and MAS disagreement greater than specified amount .. overshoot ..
And that horrible sounding tables you quoted is not what it is named ..

O.K., well everyone else must be right then. Never mind the fact that I have fixed other peoples P1235 codes by LOWERING the values in the airflow checks tables and the fact that the shop manual states the check condition is that the actual airflow is <8.8% of target then
