where to install wideband?

i was wondering where i should locate the bosch sensor for my wideband

I think the consensus is in the DP. If you have to put it under the car, put it above 3 or 9 o'clock, and definitely not at 6 o'clock because water can puddle up and eventually foul the sensor.

In the DP pre cat. Most WB manufacturers reccomend at lthe least 10-12in downstream from turbine.

The MXP downpipe has a bung in it already for a wideband. Mine did when it came-not sure if it was supposed to or not as it is/was not advertised that way.

in the AMS dp, there are two bung holes for the wideband, each at a different angle. which one would be optimal?

And if you don't have a test pipe, hfc or dp with an extra bung you will have to head to a muffler shop and have one welded in.

I have a speed circuit test pipe that has an extra bung for a wideband (no aftermarket dp yet). Is it better to put it closer (like in the downpipe)? Would putting it in the test pipe be too far away?
