Just got my car back...they replaced the cable....it's all good now...the guy did tell me that just put out a recall for this problem so we should all feel a lil better now... thankx

I went in for my FREE oil change, hood latch replaced for FREE, and my driver's seat is being replaced for FREE (the staple issue). The service manager was great, Max Madsen Aurora, IL.
I think I've had all the interior issue, my shift knob was also replaced under warranty a couple months ago.

theres a plastic core in the aluminum shift knob. some of us have had it break so the shift knob would be loose in cold weather. it was stupid, when it was really cold out it would be loose and i'd warm it up with my hands and it would lock into place, lol.
