Removing 3M Tape from Foglight lense
When i purchased my EVO X last year they threw in 3M tape for free. All i wanted them to do was to put it behind the wheels to prevent scratching from rocks and other road debris.
Well they confused my GG evo with another GG evo and 3md the hood, bumper, 8" of the roof, parts of the rear bumper and trunk and of course the foglights. Needless to say I was unhappy, but since I was from out of town and had to work the next day I had to leave unhappy.
Now i was too lazy to remove it myself and now the 3m cleartape has burned itself onto my foglights.
Anyone have any good idea on how to remove this without scratching the lens too much?
BTW, 3m on the first foot or so of the hood was great aside from the visible line. Just past that your can see the white of the primer from all the rocks hitting the hood. Not to mention the plastic NACA duct it peeling like ****.

You know WD-40 is more then just a lubricant.. right? http://www.wd40.com/uses-tips/
I had to remove some sticky stuff on my tint recently and worked like a charm!

regardless, i'd never use wd-40 on an external part of my car. hard to wash off, and it becomes a dust magnet if you don't clean it off right.

Cant peel it off with my nails. I need to scrape it off with something. Cant get fishing line in there either due to the curvature of the lens. Any ideas that wont scratch? I may just buy new lens/covers. Ive taken clearbra off of other parts on other cars. But this stuff is a real pain to get off the foglight.
