The $2k customer cash wasn't available with the 0%. But, the $2k dealer cash was.

Which dealerships have you been talking with?

I've been talking with Leith on Capital. They aren't going as low as I would like.

RR Evo X MR w/ no options.

$33,220
+ $2,060.44 (Tax)
+ $395.00 (Doc fee)
+ $49.50 (Tag title)
+ $0.00 (Other dealer add ons)
= $35,724.94 OTD

If I'm approved for the 0% or 2.9%, will Mitsubishi be financing me, or an outside bank?

And I haven't seen a straight forward answer to whether or not the $2,000 cash back is gone. I wanted this option over the 0% since I'm paying half of the car upfront.

I got the 0% in April and it was financed through Mitsubishi Motors Credit.

I haven't seen anything yet about the incentives other than the one post in this thread. I'm sure the details will be out by the end of this weekend.

This is a good question.
I got financed in February for the 60 months 0% and was told that Mitsu sold all these loans off. March, April, May I have paid to Mitsu direct. I called to check on this and they do not sell them all off, it just depends.

I've traded cars a lot, but I won't be anymore for a long time with this 0%. There is nothing as rewarding as having every payment you give take right off the principal. Its an awesome deal Mitsu is giving us, and when the 08s are gone, its history. Wonderful time to be buying an Evo, saves you thousands in the long run when you look at truth in lending.

This will be my first post here and its timed correctly. I've been talking to my local dealer aswell, he informed me of the 2k rebate but not the dealer cash.

Any solid info on what to expect would be awsome before walking in.

If they say there is no dealer cash, then they can sell it to you for $2000 more and then collect that extra $2000... no?

If the incentives stay the same as last month, I'll probably finally pull the trigger on a GSR. If they improved, I'll most definitely pull the trigger. If the deals get worse, I'll just get a 2010. If Mitsubishi (and dealers) don't need these cars gone, then I don't need to pay top dollar for a 2008.

Never did, that was only seen on edmunds as far as I know... I hope that's still available to use as extra leverage.

yea so it looks like 4grand off invoice would be the going rate, plus you could get 500 more off for loyalty, so 4500 below invoice. You could even try for 4500 below holdback (2% of invoice)

Well, I think the 0% seems like the best offer overall unless the person is paying everything upfront. I'll be financing around $18,000, so I still save around $2000 overall by doing the 0% financing over the $2,000 cash back.
