With the 04' STI when it first came out and with my EVO IX I refused to do anything until a test drive and they both ended up letting me drive it.

I test drive ralliart and then bought EVO x even without test drive it!
This car hold so much on the corner lol

My last two vehicles I never test drove. Honda S2000 and the EVO X MR. I literally walked into the showroom and pointed at the cars and said I want that one. Hopefully people are doing enough research before they spend 30+ on a car, and I pretty much did so I knew what I was buying.
