Could some please take the following pictures for me of the engine bay of a EVO X?

-engine bay area w/oil cap
-dip stick location
-dip stick pulled out (up close pics of the cross hatches and oil low line/notch)

I am currently in Iraq and I am trying to give my wife a block of instruction on how to check oil with full color photos if possible.

i can do first two..

 

u can draw the circles for the locations lol.

 

oh and i cant believe she cant check the oil on a car. thats like the easiest thing to do on a car. right before adding air to a tire and putting gas in the car.

Tell her to check the oil when cold (before starting) its always easier to get an accurate read when cold.

 

And she may want to wipe it off first, then re-check.....

 

Good point, "read" it when cold then wipe and recheck for the same approx. reading.
