need help with painting.

i want to paint the lugnuts on my lancer red, what is the best way to go about doin this, a high temperature paint like the one used on calipers? a special paint that will bond to the chrome?

By the time you take them off and paint them you can buy a nice set of red lugs at your local autozone or advanced auto... The calipers aren't sprayed their powder coated btw. Hope that helps???

As soon as your torque them, the paint will just chip right off.

You're better off buying colored ones from Autozone/PepBoys. Like stated above, it'll chip right off when you put them on. Or.. paint them while they're on!

Do NOT go to autozone and buy lugs for the stock wheels. You cannot use aftermarket lugs on stock wheels.

If you do paint them, when putting them back on ne very careful. Also, keep a small paint brush next to you so that if it does chip you can just touch it up w/the brush. high temp paint is not needed, but you can google paints to see what should work best w/chrome.
