Evo X Vs. 135i Vs. 370z
#151
i was debating between the cars op had listed just a few wks ago.
with that said, finding a stick 135i was like finding a needle in a haystack. not to mention pricing was really difficult to negotiate with. chances are, you won't find a base stick 135i for 35-36k, this made it a deal killer for me.
i got the chance to test drive the 370z, my previous vehicle was an 07 vq35hr. huge, huge, huuge difference. sexier, and the synchro rev match was the ****. interior + exterior was a huge step up. there was wiggle room with pricing but no financing specials.
i ended up picking up a 2010 evo x, no regrets.

im having the same debate right now T_T. if i get a 135, i do not want to mod it, but if i get and evo i want to mod it. stock for stock, would the gsr beat an auto 135 in a straight line?

I owned both the Evo X and 335i coupe. I think the 1 series with some light mods actually looks really good. Even though it has 4 seats it feels tiny even when sitting up front. I can say though that is one of the best engines out there. The N54 is just amazing. Id say 135i then Evo X then 370Z.

In a straight line the 135i is no joke. I played with one for fun making about 120whp more than me and that thing left me like a zo6 from a 60 roll. I pretty much let off the pedal after 1 second and laughed. Id have never thought they were that beastly! Didnt look as ugly or chick oriented as everyone is saying either. It was tucked with nice wheels and of course a sick fmic. I liked it tons more than my evo and not only because it was hella faster.
