120 hp more and faster in a straigh line. Wow that is no joke. That's the law of probability.

My 335i killed my Evo X. Easily. On a track I actually think the Evo would do better the regular 3 series sport suspension isnt that great. I feel much safer taking hard turns in the Evo.

Anyone who truly knows what they are talking about when contesting these three cars as a daily drivers, will undoubtedly agree that the 135i is the undisputed winner of that category. As far as cheap to mod, that is tricky and really depends on a few things:

1) Do you know how to tune, if not they are on equal monetary territory concerning buying a tune.
2) Will you be happy with 400 hp to the wheels(which is pretty damn quick), if your happy at this point things are still about equal, i'd give the evo a little edge in the money department, maybe an extra 200 bucks or so to get the bmw there.
3)If you want more power than 400, the cheaper solution is the evo.

There are so many differences between the two...bottom line, drive them both, they are great cars, but if you can't have both, your forced to make a decision. Chose whichever suits you best.

If you dont have to worry about the weather... Rock the 370z with sport package.

If you need to worry about weather the Evo X is the way to go!

If you are blind get the 135I because its ugly.

I had an evo 8 for 3 yrs with some nice mods including RED turbo, but when It came to getting a new car I choose the 370Z. Lighter , better ext+interior , rev match, 3.7L vs 2.0L Bad *** brakes and Rays 19in lightweight rims.. It was lacking on power compared to my evo.. So I dropped 7k for a GTM TT kit. and now making 480whp at 7psi. on race gas and 10psi I can hit 550WHP and over 500WTQ.

nissan and better interior? mitsu's not even known for super interiors and is basically on the same level. that stupid empty compartment in the middle of the console is just garbage and all that plastic, disappointing.

evo has bad *** brakes and nice wheels (mr). too bad 550whp isn't useful whp. you must go through tires seasonally. i'm not a hater, but i think the 370z isn't equally comparable to these awd cars.

The quality of the (interior) materials in the 370 is significantly better than in the 350, and no comparison to the X. It's on another level, altogether. While the styling is a matter of taste, materials' quality is hard to debate.

There's no doubt the 370Z interior is made from much better materials. There are actually some soft to the touch textures which is a rarity in this day and age. However someone commented on it being light which isn't really true. It's not much lighter than an STi despite being smaller and not being burdened with the additional hardware of AWD. The VQ engine is just way past it's prime. It's pretty sad when Hyundai is making smoother, more refined V6 engines.

tough comparison, but if all season driviability is a concern, the EVO X would do the best in the snow. If not, that 370z is sexy as hell!!!!

I have compared these cars before getting my Evo. My only priority was getting a fun to drive car.

- 370Z was really nice for the price. Power was either equal or better than the Evo. But handling did not feel as refined. The rear end seemed to slide when pushed hard, so you may like it if that is how you like to take corners.

- I did not get a chance to drive the 135, so I drove the 335. Power felt equal to the Evo. Obviously there was more emphasis on luxury, so the suspension also felt softer and did not provide the same steering feedback as the Evo did.

In the end it was the razor sharp handling of the Evo that made my choice easier.
