Let me rephrase what I previously posted...its a well refined, powerful, well handling chick car...I do like a lot about the car, just not how it looks

Your wrong, the x takes to mods better then the n54. The TT inline is fast but not VERY fast, they have trouble with x's with upgraded turbos even with jb or proceed. other then that the 4b11 pound for pound is stronger, lighter and can handle much more power and boost, despite being only a 4 cylinder. No upgraded turbos for the n54 for under a million bucks. So I wouldn't exactly compare it to an rb or anything, the highest hp an n54has seen was 500, 4b11....800+ I'll keep my 4 cilly

We had an ex race car driver come in a buy an evo X after driving a 370z, GTR, STi, and a few others.... He said the EVO was the most balanced, and all around best performer. The GTR was fast, but like driving a German tank with a jet engine. The X is a sweet car, it would definitely be my pick.

I had an evo 8 for 3 yrs with some nice mods including RED turbo, but when It came to getting a new car I choose the 370Z. Lighter , better ext+interior , rev match, 3.7L vs 2.0L Bad *** brakes and Rays 19in lightweight rims.. It was lacking on power compared to my evo.. So I dropped 7k for a GTM TT kit. and now making 480whp at 7psi. on race gas and 10psi I can hit 550WHP and over 500WTQ.
However, you spent a lot more then 7k for the kit installed, and there having all sorts of tuning issues, and WTQ is abysmally non existant on that platform. More like 500WHP and 330WTQ. Cobb dropped the platform all together and the platform may never be fully cracked so you can really tune it. Only way to get anything out of it is stand alone.
It's a fun car but no where near the mod level of any EVO.

best moderate price that you can mod, evo x
id summarize like this:
if you are looking to go to tracks and have space, evo no doubt.
if all you do is street driving, 135.
the z is just an alternative to the 135!
its a hard choice though, i have to admit!
