292 horses! okay, i dont know the difference between HP AWHP BHP
i know what they are. i just thought it was the same.

HP = output of motor
AWHP = Power that goes to the wheel
BHP = Brake Horsepower?

There seems to be some sort of myth that the 370Z is light. It's a small car that weights close to 3300lbs so it's a bit of a porker when you consider the X has AWD and is considerably larger. The 135i has the best engine and interior but the shape of the car is not very pleasing to the eye as it appears BMW just dropped a 3 series in a trash compactor to squish it down a size. Not as ugly as the 370Z which to me looks like a 350Z with riced out headlights, ugly roofline, and bulges popping out everywhere like a fat chick wearing clothes too tight.

Overall all very nice cars, it just depends on your own personal preferences to style, if you need back seats, and what part of the country you live in as the EVO X is hands down the superior vehicle if you you get snow in the winter.

i like the 370z, but after reading about edmunds long term test on the 370z, it became a big turn off. while one of the editors was driving, the gear was stuck at 3rd and he couldn't unstuck it. Eventually the poor z had to get the whole transmission replaced; sad car. The rev match thing is cool, but who knows if that can be the problem that caused it. 135 is a very good car. It is probably one of the best small cars out there but the price is steep. It can go to around 40k OTD. I bought my evo for 32k otd and I am extremely satisfied with the performance and the price i paid. However, it it comes down that a 2010 evo x costs more than 38k i'll take the 135 for sure. 135 has more comfy ride and extremely smooth acceleration plus probably it has less cabin rattle heh.

I was going to get the 370z but the dealership was giving me **** about getting registered in a different state in which I was licensed so I went to mitsu and got the X. Now that I have the ten I'm happy I went with it. I would vote x due to the awd, but either car would be great.

Daily Driver = 135i

Best look = 370z

Best to Modify = GSR

And at the track I still think the Evo (slightly modded or even stock probably) would grab both and put it in its pocket; But you're not tracking the car are you?

So out of the three, if it was me, I'd choose the 135i; can't go wrong with that car.

The second you drive the car off the lot in the X your pins in the front diff start to wear. When they fail, your tranny will also fail, so it's not like the X tranny is better. The auto is even worse but for different reasons.

That was a good read. Interesting that the 370Z is always the last car left available in the test fleet and that was never the case with the EVO X. Sounds like it doesn't make for a comfortable daily driver. It also sounds like the VQ still likes to consume oil, trim pieces falling off, transmissions failing. Yeah that's pretty well why I don't buy Nissan. Pretty well mirrors experiences of a lot of people I know that have new Nissans.

If you can get a BMW 135i for 35k then I will praise you.
I went to our BMW dealer to look at the 135's and none of them were under 39k. It's becasue no dealers get them just plain.

370Z is a badass car, but i couldn't do two doors. the 135i is a chickcar, period. of those 3 i'd take the EVO X all day long, or get a 335i.

That's a problem with pretty well all German luxury cars is that prices escalate quickly & steeply with options and it's hard to come by bare bones versions.

my choice would be either the 370Z or the evo X. if you want a pure sports car, get the 370Z. if you want a sports car that is practical, get the evo X.
