Boost Leak Tester

On the Evo X is the turbo inlet still the best place to hook up a boost leak tester?

If so how are you guys getting in there to hook it up without taking everything that's in the way off?

Sorry bro, you have to take off the intake, etc. to access it. It's a pain to do, but worth the time. Good luck!

I got everything out of the way and I have access to the turbo now.. but the coupler I bought that's 2" is slightly too small. I tried to get it to stretch and go on but it tore. So I'm not sure what to do now. The next size up is way too big.

Think u need an 2.5" coupling.
Say u have a hard pipe intake. Y cant u just take off the filter and pressurize the system that way so it test any leaks for the intake setup also? Is it because its so far away from the turbo it wont get the air to the rest of boost path?

I have to bump this. Same question, can I run a boost leak tester off a hard intake pipe?
