Mobil1 Oil & Filters...

UPDATE - Best Deal I could find so far...
Advanced Auto Parts is selling 5 quarts of Mobil1 & Mobil1 Oil Filter for $29.99

I took this in and got $10 off..

--------------------------------------------------------

I don't want to talk about the merits, I just want to know where you guys buy? I'm tired of buying 1 oil change at a time. I'd like to find a place where I can get a good deal by buying a few oil changes at a time. I've searched the forums and the best I can find is a group buy for toronto people.

Anyway, where do you guys buy online? Any vendors on the forums sale this stuff at a good rate when purchasing multiple oil changes worth?

I just buy my oil from walmart... $22 for a 5 quart jug of Mobil 1. For oil filters I generally just use fram's "higher end" ones... the ones designed to work well with synthetic (I believe they are like six bucks or something like that)...

You beat me to it. I was going to say, for what ever reason, wally world has the 5qt jug for about $20. But i just get the Mitsu filter.

Alway check your local Auto part stores. They all way have mananger speical's on oil. I personally think the Mobil 1 oil filter is way better then stock. It has a much higher filtration system then stock, just pick up the 2 and compare. The stocker is bigger, but yet way lighter the then the Mobil's filter. Once again IMO.

So did you get the special for $29.99 (including the filter), and then an additional $10 taken off your order?

If so, thats an amazing deal.

AutoZone had a similar deal last week....not sure if it's still on.

$29.99 for Mobil 1 5qt jug + a Mobil 1 Filter

OR

$34.99 for Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5qt jug + a Mobil 1 Filter

They also had a $27.99 deal on a 5qt jug of Castrol SYNTEC + a K&N Filter

Shop around.
