I am amazed that Mitsu let that fly from the factory, is a little band clamp too expensive?

With my X, it caused the PO171 lean code to show, even untuned with an intake, since the ziptie, no more codes(171). She purs like a champ.

When you guys say ziptie. What exactly is it you are ziptying ? I don't see the hose , I see a pipe sticking out but not sure what I am supposed to clamp down. Don't wanna tighten up the wrong thing lol

Take a look at the very first post, on the manifold that little pipe next to the dipstick, there should be a small hose connected. If there isn't yours slipped off. If you don't see a small hose hanging nearby, then take the top plastic cover off the engine. You should see a small hose leading from the Fuel Pressure regulator that is just hanging loose, that small hose needs to be reconnected to the manifold. There is a pic on page 2 showing it connected.

500 RPM bounce

Thanks for posting this, looked for it and NO KIDDING, the hose was off. Fixed Immediately. Thanks for posting! Saved me a visit to the bloody dealership! Also, caused the P0171 code. Get a P0171 code, check this FIRST, before you waste your time taking it to someone that will look for this first.

Will Clamp it! Thank you brotha.

Cheers,
upgeek

My line was attached but the hose turned to plastic so I changed it out. Hard hoses can also cause leaks.
