MR Sill Scuff Plate

Just purchased the aluminum door scuff plates for my GSR that come standard on the MR. They are much smaller than i presume and know i wondering on the exact placement on the sill. Anyone have a picture of there factory MR aluminum scuff plates? Thanks.

this might be a little closer than you want. if it is let me know, you can see the seat alignment though to get the idea.

Anyways, I can take another shot if you need one further. Just didnt feel like going downstairs with the camera.

That's the one, Thanks for the quick response! Just so everyone (GSR guys)knows these things are kinda small for 40 plus bucks (a piece..)

Thanks as well, isn't the one i have but would recommend it to all after seeing photos and having the other in my hand. No sure of the cost difference though.

the nice thing about the UK scuff plates is that it comes with the rears.

Those scuff plates are too small to be functional I think. Yes, it protects the area underneath and the likely the edges...but it doesn't cover enough area to be useful.

Better option may be to cut out the 3M clear protection film and cover around the side sills. I have my aero kit side sills covered with this stuff and it works great.

here is mine. the metal actually goes under the door rubber weatherstrip about 1 mm.
