Feedback on mod list for MR?
I am looking to get some AMS mods for my stock MR. My question is, will the following be over doing it with a proper flash?
AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X MR/Ralliart Transmission Cooler Kit
AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Upper Intercooler Pipe / Hot Pipe *Black*
AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Performance Intake *Black*
AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X / Ralliart Boost Pill
AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Small Battery Kit with Battery
AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X Twin Tip Cat Back Exhaust System
AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X "Widemouth" Downpipe
AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X/Ralliart High-Flow Cat
I know there are countless threads on the limitations of the MR. I have looked through them and still have this question. Are these mods too much for the MR to handle? Should I drop the downpipe and high-flow cat?

Well the question would be, are you going to track the car? If not, you probably won't need the tranmission cooler, unless you plan on launching it consecutively, and performing a lot of illegel street racing for extended periods of time. Best thing to do, is just get the JDM fog light delete kit and spend the $500 bucks from the cooler on something else.
Definately get these:
UICP
O2/Downpipe "Widemouth"
Test Pipe or High Flow Cat
Single Exhaust (saves more weight than the dual exhaust, on an already heavy EVO)
Intake
Small Battery Kit (again, saving more weight)
A good tune (you will be surprised how rich your car is running)
Now, I'm not sure about the boost pill. I had my MR tuned at Evolution Dynamics and they used a 3 port boost controller. I think they have better luck with that than using the pill. But I know AMS uses it.
All my mods are in my sig, and I have yet to have any transmission issues. But, I have never put my car on a dyno, so I don't know how close I am to the "limits"

I don't plan on tracking it often. To me, this is more of a show car and just feel good about it kind of car. At same time, just want to get whatever power out of it i can.
The idea behind the cooler was to simply add a little more life to the car. It does get incredibly hot here in Florida.
Can you link to a JDM fog light delete kit?

Get the RexSpeed CF Air ducts - they're identical to the Ralliart (I'm talking Ralliart performance parts Japan, not Lancer Ralliart) ones, but about half the price.
The workmanship is great and, in my opinion, they add a really aggressive look to the front of the car.
And on the practical side, of course, they completely open up those ducts where the foglights currently are.
