Iphone users.
to use on iphone add to music. it will change to a mp4. The right click and go to Create ACC it will show up under the original one. Delete original. Now right click on ACC version and click on show in windows explorer rename .mp4 to .m4r and it will say something just click yes and add to ringtone section. This works for all songs in music thats not protected. The clip is 14 seconds so it will work you can make any ringtones you want as long as they are under or 30 secs long only. Hope this helps.

i've done this a hundred times too. i'd email this tone to my phone .mp3 and it'd play, but wont add as a ringtone. i tried chanign to mid, didn't work. is there another extension? maybe bitrate needs to change..

okay, so my itunes would not let me add this as a ring tone and kept telling me you can only make a ringtone from music purchased from itunes. i found a way around it which might help you blackbery guys too. found a site, ringtoneexpressions.com. it allows you to make ringtones from music on your pc. best part is you get 5 free before you need to pay for the sofeware. just a little help incase someone is having the same problem as i did.
