Billet aluminum throttle pedal assemlies

Hi guys,

I was contacted by another company to try out and market a billet aluminum throttle pedal assembly. I've heard that there has been some factory throttle pedal breaking, they are made of plastic.

The new pedal is billet aluminum and uses all the factory mounts and electronics. It's a very easy swap. It functions exactly like stock but will not break.

Here are two pictures of the stock unit compared to the billet unit. The billet unit does not come with the electronics (top portion) bolted to it, you have to take yours off your pedal and put it on the new one, very easy to do.

This post is to gauge interest in the product so the manufacturer can start producing them.

Please post if you are interested.

Is the pedal breaking a safety feature put in place so that in a head-on collision the gas pedal breaks before your ankle does?

If this is a test to see demand pre-production, what would the eta on availability look like? How about pricing?

If this fits the Ralliart, I'll purchase one. I've already had my gas pedal break off the stem itself. I would rather not have the whole thing cut in half.

Make a pedal set to go with it, that's a little different/better than the stock design and I think these would take off, depending on price.

I've lost 2 friends to that incident of the pedal jamming and they running right into a T-intersection and dieing. That Toyota joke is no joke.

I'd be interested in a complete pedal set, or maybe just the one.

Very nice.. and I like how the pedal looks exactly OEM.

Maybe have the mfg make up a matching dead-pedal, and you could offer a nice combo deal to replace the plastic throttle assembly and cover up the ugly plastic foot rest.

You should make a pedal that is raised up a bit more and offset to the left a little bit so we can heal-toe easier. The stock pedal sits a little too low and too much to the side for my taste.
