These look sweet. Heard about those recalls but if they're now fixed...

My daughter rolls in the back seat in her Recaro car seat. I like the pads on the side of her head, especially when she falls asleep. It is a great car seat.

I wonder how the recaro pro-ride line fit in the evo x's rear facing. It looks a bit bulky compared to other rear-facing seats - understandably so since they seem to be extremely safe. Does anyone have any experience with them, or any comparable rear-facing seat for the first year or so? Did it fit well in the seat and did it require the passenger seat to be slid all the way up?

I have the Signo but still haven't used it yet. I have been using a peg perego infant seat for now. Once my son out grows it, he will use the Signo. It is bulky, but if you angle the passenger straight up, you don't have to slide it all the way forward.

My son is 6 months old now and I figure has at least another month or two before he goes into the signo.

I have one of these seats for my daughter and we both like it in the Evo.

How about your peg perego infant seat? Does it take up more or less room for a front seat passenger than the signo? I'm just trying to get a reference since its so hard to imagine.

FYI - The young sport is now on clearance at most online retailers and will not be available soon. If you want one, now is the time to buy it.

The proRide and proSport are newer options.

My wife bought some seat protectors for our cars, but a towel does fine in pinch. Beware the milk stains!
