STi parts are much more easier to get and infos as well. But for some reason Ralliart is a pita to get infos on their products. ( not everyone read Nippon )
No wonder why they are getting down.

Ralliart could have done much more and didn't. It really sucks to see it close shop, but I'm not surprised. They could have had a larger presence here a long time ago.
I agree with the post that Mitsubishi's management is terrible. Overseas, they made awesome cars and never trusted they would sell here. Subaru now has more US marketshare on Mitsu though Mitsu had better distribution oppotunities through the DSM deal.

Not to digress, STi and SPT are truly different. Regarding SPT parts for subaru that dealers sell as installed optiond, many of these are manufactured/marketed in Ankeny, Iowa by DeeZee. Some are made in China as well by them. My friend worked as a CAD designer for them and helped with several SPT parts such as the intake, strut bar etc

It's overpriced. No matter how you look at it, it's overpriced.
The only thing that kept them alive was the group N homologation and the lack of anything else available for Grp. N for mitsu cars. They never really aimed at the normal "aftermarket crowd".
I really wonder what'll happen with Evos in rally now.
Edit:
*1 FIA VO parts development and those application work shall be done by Mitsubishi Motors Corporation as it is.
*2 FIA Group-N information shall be open at the web site of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation.
Means Mitsu themselves will keep the Gr-N going I guess.

aye ralliart was attracted to privateer rally teams, parts were ridicuklously expensive but worked flawlessly. A 14k$ ralliart motor ensured you are buying the most durable one available. I wonder if one can get wholesale prices on some of their stuff now.

Companies often tag/market their upper level vehicle models with brand names, like Nismo, Mugen, STI, TRD. Mitsubishi marketed the Ralliart name A$$ backwards giving it to the lancer (non-evo) on previous and current Lancers....
Definitely not surprised that Ralliart is going away. Although Ralliart may have had "some" high end pieces available, none were on my lists of "must gets". Not like other JDMa nd USDM brand names/products.

Wasn't the Lancer Ralliart out before the first Lancer Evo in USA?
This is probably why the Lancer Ralliart was " the top end model "
But now the Lancer Evo was introduced, they kind of screw up.
