I think replacing seats and spending additional money on the seats for the evo is just a complete waste on the X. On the IX, I could understand the idea since the seats were good but had quite a bit of room for improvement, while the X seats are pretty good from the start... PLUS they have airbags.

my sentiments exactly. but some just think a un-reclinable, carbon fiber seat is necessary for daily driving

i ripped out my staples a long time ago. the cloth hangs out from time to time, but i just push it back into the plastic for now. planned to reupholster it with leather + suede.

I went to the dealer today and they said they are going to schedule a meeting with their mitsu representative to come and check out my car. Apparently no one has complained in my area about their seats.

Was this Mile High Mitsu? My passenger seat popped a staple the other day and I'm planning on heading over there to have all the recalls done.

yeah the seats are real annoying. But as long as it fixed with no problems then its not really that big of a deal. I has a whole mess of things i need to get taken care of. Seat needs to be fixed. My driver side dome light dosnt work half the time. Some major paint chipping on my hood scoop and then the recalls....bla.
